The Q-40 is constructed of birch plywood, mahogany plywood, and foam and can be powered by a 7.5cc size inboard or 3.5cc outboard marine engine. Kit contains step by step written instructions and plans for both inboard and outboard engine installation. For 7.5cc inboard use Dumas flex cable drive running hardware kit #2352. No running hardware kit is needed for outboard installation.
