The Short Stuff is a good kit for the person looking for a first time boat that is radio controllable. Short Stuff, also known as Deep Vee 10, is available in either a wood kit or fiberglass kit. The wood kit is made up of birch and mahogany plywood, while the fiberglass kit consists of hand laid up hull and deck that the modeler joins. Both kits are easy to assemble and can be powered by either gas or electric. For an .049 gas engine, use running hardware kit #2314. For an .09 or .10 gas marine engine, use running hardware kit #2326, #2327 or #2334. For an electric motor use running hardware kit #2336.
