If all of this talk of cleanly die-cut wood and precision castings sounds a little tame to you, then this tug is for you. Kit #1220 is a 45 in.. version of the Shelley Foss that includes the following: a 45 in. hand laid up fiberglass tug boat hull with a white gel coat finish, three large sheets of mahogany plywood, and a set of full size blue prints. What you do with it from there is entirely up to you. But, if you fancy yourself as a frustrated scratch builder, you can have a lot of fun with this one.
